I use AstraChat to staff chat on my iOS device. Why do I not receive notifications?!
If you are no longer receiving visual and/or sound notifications when using AstraChat to staff, we recommend using the following formula for your settings.
General device settings:
- Make sure 'Do Not Disturb" is turned off
- Settings > Sounds (make sure the "ringer and alerts" is set reasonably, turn ON "Change with buttons")
- Sounds > Ensure sound is configured for everything, including "text tone" and "new mail."
- Settings > Notifications > AstraChat (enabled notifications, sounds, and badges)
- Settings > Astrachat > Notifications (make sure all the kinds are turned on)
Within Astrachat:
Settings > Notification > (sound and notification both turned on)
Physical volume buttons
Double check to ensure sound is turned on and volume is turned up
